Having enjoyed a period of al-fresco dining at some of Alsager's fine restaurants and cafes and with indoor dining returning to all eateries from Monday (17th May), it's important to know where you will find the best standards in terms of food hygiene.

Cheshire East Council inspectors ensure safety standards across the borough and dish out a rating to all food venues ranging from 0 (urgent improvement necessary) to 5 (very good).

The ratings cover the areas of food handling, cleanliness of the building and facilities, and food safety management.

We have compiled a list of all of the ratings for eateries in and around Alsager on the Food Hygiene Agency website.
