Warehouse operatives

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for Warehouse operatives to work for a prestigious client based in Talke Pitts. 

Candidates will have experience of both picking and packing, using a hand scanner and entering data onto the system.

The rate of pay is £10.42 per hour, overtime is paid at time and half after 37.5 hour

Shifts are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. This will be an immediate start.

Store Management Apprentice

Aldi at Knypersley is looking for a store management apprentice.

The role balances theory with practical store work on a three-year programme.

Described as a store with a real family feel and a close-knit team, there is always support from those around you, ranging from store managers to store assistants.

In this fast paced environment you'll get to learn something new every day in a company that thrives on being different.

The time will fly by and before you know it you will have your Level 3 Retail Team Leader qualification and be working as a fully-fledged deputy store manager with real opportunities for progression in the future.

You need GCSEs in Maths and English, grade 4 and above (minimum grade C or equivalent) to be able to undertake the apprenticeship.

Fabricator Welders

Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for MIG and TIG Welders for their client based in Alsager. 

The candidate will have experience in:

• MIG/TIG welding, stainless steel and mild steel.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Cutting, shaping, bending and forming stainless steel and mild steel including square to round and conical development.

A weld test will be part of the recruitment process. 

Hours of work are: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, early finish on Fridays. 

The rate of pay is between £12.07 - £12.67 per hour.

Second Chef - Care Home

Lawton Manor Care Home is looking for a qualified chef wanting to work with fresh seasonal food, with the opportunity to have more of a work life balance and make what you do matter.

Lawton Manor in Church Lane, Church Lawton, are looking for a passionate chef for 30 hours a week. Working as a Second Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks.

You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them.
