Alsager Community Support

Volunteer with ACS

Making local lives better.

ACS provides a free, local and confidential service for people in any kind of need across Alsager and the surrounding areas. Everything we do relies on the care, time and generosity of our volunteers.

There are many ways to get involved, depending on what feels right for you:

Centre Volunteers – Join us in our advice centre, where we offer information and guidance on a wide range of issues. You'll be part of a supportive team helping people find the help they need.

Befrienders – Spend time with someone who may be feeling lonely or isolated. A friendly chat, a shared cup of tea, a regular visit — that connection can mean more than you'd imagine.

Volunteer Drivers – Help people get where they need to go. Some volunteers drive once or twice a week to take people to the local civic lunch club. Others help to take people to essential medical appointments when there's no other way to get there.

Whatever your skills, availability, or experience, there's likely a place for you here. We'll provide guidance and support.

If this sounds like something you'd like to be part of, we'd love to hear from you.
