Recycling material on fire in lorry in Alsager

Firefighters were called to Coronation Avenue in Alsager today (Wednesday) after recycling material in a lorry caught fire.  

One fire engine from Alsager and another from Winsford went to the blaze at 11.25 am today. 

A Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a fire involving a lorry containing recycling material and used a hose reel to put it out."
