Fifty-three-year-old man from Church Lawton taken to hospital with leg injuries following two-vehicle collision in Congleton

A 53-year-old man from Church Lawton was taken to hospital with leg injuries following a collision between a motorbike and scooter on the Clayton Bypass in Congleton.

At 12.34pm today (Friday, 21st May), officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the Clayton Bypass.

Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a white motorbike and red Modena scooter.

Paramedics attended the scene and the rider of the scooter, a 53-year-old man from Church Lawton, was taken to hospital with leg injuries.

The rider of the white bike, a 54-year-old woman from Church Lawton, did not require hospital treatment.
