Christmas trees go hand in hand with this time of year but one church in Alsager always ensures they help rise plenty of festive cheer.

Wesley Place Methodist Church in Alsager has a four day annual Christmas tree festival which coincides with the lights switch-on.

This year's event opens on Friday (21 November ) and runs until Monday (24 November).

The church invites groups and organisations in the town to decorate and display a tree which this year, as always, produced some creative entries.

Alsager Nub News will be doing a tour of the trees but would be delighted to see your photographs at this year's show when it opens on Friday. Share them with us!
