Families invited to enjoy fun and wellness event at Alsager's Milton Park

An Alsager mum will see a dream come true on Sunday (July 20th) when the charity she set up holds the second wellbeing festival.
Gemma Glover launched Aura , a Congleton-based community interest organisation in 2021 and this weekend, the organisation is holding an event in Milton Park.
Families will get a chance to try their hand at a number of events from soundbaths, yoga, adult meditation and aromabalance plus there will be over 25 stalls and face painting.

It's the second year the festival has been held. Last year it was held in August but Aura decided to bring the festival forward a month nearer the end of the schools breaking up.
Aura provides a range of services including counselling and workshops - the later designed to create a safe and inclusive space for people to learn grow and build relationships with others.
The founder, Gemma, was inspired to start the charity after a traumatic event that happened to a close family member.

Realising that there was very little support tailored to the person affected and non at all for those around her that also suffered, Gemma launched Aura.
Aura offer emotional support to anyone affected by changes within their lives that have a negative impact on their mental health. Their website is here
The wellbeing festival takes place on Sunday (July 20th) in Milton Park from 11 am until 4 pm and is free to attend. Everyone is welcome.
