Death of person at Kidsgrove station not being treated as suspicious

British Transport Police say a person found dead at Kidsgrove station is not being treated as suspicious.
Police were called to Kidsgrove station at around 3.30 pm on Sunday (28 June) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "Officers attended along with paramedics but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
