Calling all gardeners – are in interested in growing vegetables and plants and would like to see how it's done?

Alsager Gardens Association is opening the doors to its four allotment sites in Alsager this weekend.

Always wondered what it's like to have an allotment and what you can grow on them?

Visitors can take a look around the different sites at Lawton Road (off Percy James Close), Cedar Avenue, Talke Road and Coronation Avenue.

Refreshments and cakes will be available at the Cedar Avenue site, with a plant sale of donated plants from allotment members.

Visitors are welcome between 2pm and 4pm on both Saturday (May 7th) and Sunday (May 8th).

The Cedar Avenue allotments will also be open again on June 5th from 2pm - 4pm to celebrate the Queen's jubilee with a garden party. All are welcome.
