A major business on the outskirts of Alsager has opened the doors to customers in its new-look store.

M6 Bed Warehouse has moved to new premises in the Courtyard on Radway Green Business Park in Radway Green following a burglary.

The business, which is 21 years old, moved to a temporary unit following the incident last month (April).

Now staff welcomed customers to the new unit, at the front of the Radway Green Business Park yesterday (May 13th).

"After a tough couple of weeks, we are so excited to welcome our fantastic customers back into our brand new store," said a spokesperson.

"Location-wise, we are still located on Radway Green, however the shop is now at the front of site in the Courtyard."

The spokesperson declined to go into further details except to say the business has an 'exceptionally loyal' customer base and was looking forward to opening the doors to the new showroom.

A notice on M6 Bed Warehouse's Facebook page, explaining the temporary closure, said: "From Tuesday evening (25th April) until Wednesday lunchtime (April 26th), we were unable to gain access to our showroom and warehousing units due to a security breach at our Radway Green site.

"Once police had been and accessed the situation, we were able to get into our units. Unfortunately, once in, we were greeted by our showroom which was the victim of mass vandalisam and burglary.

"On top of this, some of our warehousing had been broken into. Thankfully no one no one was hurt.

"Due to the state of our showroom we have taken the decision to close our store temporarily.

"However, our delivery schedules are back up and running thanks to the incredible work of all our staff."

The new-look store opens at 9 am on Saturday (May 13th) and will be open as before Monday – Saturday 9 am until 5 pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays 10 am – 4 pm.

Alsager Nub News wishes M6 Bed Warehouse much success in its new premises.
