Budding musicians will be hitting the high notes today (Monday) when they create  instruments from recycled materials and for a 'junk' band.

Wild Rumpus at Scholar Green near Alsager is inviting people to join them at the workshop at 4 pm in The Woods, Lunt Moss, Scholar Green.

The  90-minute workshop involve creating your own musical instruments from recycled materials and learning a song from Earth-Bound's new work, For the Love of Stuff.

A spokesperson said: "We'll then sit down with a refreshment to watch the company rehearse a section of For the Love of Stuff, a story of hope and redemption which uses movement, theatre and song to look at the climate crisis."

Earth-Bound is a collective of freelance artists directed by Sioda Adams. Through a mix of art forms they aim to present high quality performance art with a focus on social and environmental justice that is accessible to all.
