Boxing legend, Frank Bruno MBE, was in Alsager at the weekend – to raise money for a community football group.

Alsager AFC, The Swans, staged a fundraising evening at Alsager Civic with the former professional boxer

And Frank, who has boxed against so many legends including Mike Tyson, thrilled a packed audience on Saturday (September 21st) night.

Frank talked about his boxing career and rise to fame, growing up the youngest of six children in London.

He went on to become the youngest heavy weight champion but now spends his days as a 'frustrated DJ' as well as being a mental health ambassador.

Andrew Miller, AFC Alsager chairman, said: "We had a fantastic evening and Frank Bruno was given a very warm welcome by our audience.

"We'd like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event. Thank you so much for your time and support. "
