An Alsager charity shop is appealing for a Sunday supervisor and volunteers to help out in the shop.

Headway in Sandbach Road South raise money for the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and information services

Alsager born and bred, Sharon Rigby is manager there as we told in our article here and is now looking for people to come and join her.

Sharon has always loved charity shops and owns several items of clothing herself - which she has bought from charity shops.

"We have a position available for a Sunday supervisor which is paid and also are looking for volunteers as well," she said.

The pay for the Sunday supervisor is £12.45 per hour and the role is for five hours per week. Details about this and the volunteer roles are available on their Facebook page here

Most staff have been there a while for it would seem the shop isn't only popular with customers – it's also a big hit with people wanting to work there.

"We do have a very low turnover of volunteers. Most have been with us for a while but we always need more," said Sharon.

Anyone who would like to volunteer at the Alsager shop can contact Sharon at the shop on 01270 873491.
