It's the Manchester Marathon this weekend and at least four members of an Alsager running community will be putting their best feet forward and taking part.

The Home Run, organised by Home Coffee & Studio and The Vault, hosts a five kilometre run every two weeks on a Sunday and a number of runners from the group are running the Manchester Marathon 2026. on Sunday (19 April).

The event, the UK's second largest marathon, has been taking place since 2012, and this year will see a record number of 42,000 participants take on the a 26.2 mile challenge.
