An 11-year-old Alsager youngster is raising money for Children in Need by plaiting hair and she's drumming up more support at a local salon in the town.

Talented Marci Brown, who starts Alsager School in September, discovered her hairdressing talent at the tender age of five when she started plaiting hair.

Now the budding entrepreneur is using her skills to help other children and her friends and customers are loving it!

So far, Marci has raised around £750 from the project and on Wednesday and Thursday (August 14th and 15th) she's drumming up more support at Clarity & Radiance salon in Lawton Road. Marci will be there from 10 am - 4 pm tomorrow (Wednesday) and 10 am - 3 pm on Thursday.
