Alsager venue announces a summer exhibition of paintings featuring the Staffordshire countryside

Two Doors Studio in Alsager is hosting an exhibition of landscape paintings by a local artist who takes inspiration from the Staffordshire countryside.
The exhibition called 'A Rich Earth' by Ian Pearsall starts with an opening night tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6pm - 9pm with refreshments provided.
After travelling in his early years, Ian has settled in the Maer Hills near Newcastle-under-Lyme and draws his inspiration from the mysteries of the wooded areas that surround him.

He said: "I am excited to have the space to show my artworks in Alsager. It is my great belief that art is to be seen first hand and so here is my world through the paintings on display."
Lorna Plant, a partner at Two Doors Studio added: "We are really happy to have secured a major exhibition of an important local artist such as Ian. It's great that local people will get the chance to see his work."
The exhibition can be viewed Wednesdays until Saturdays 9:30 am - 5pm in the upstairs galleryand studio at 100 Crewe Road. It will continue over the summer until September.
