Alsager U3A is throwing open the doors next week for an open morning to show off its work and attract new members.

The group is booming in Alsager but organisers say there's still room for more people to join and take part in a variety of activities.

These range from creative writing to bowls and French with many more subjects in between.

Tap dancing is one of the activities offered and Alsager U3A's tap dancers will be giving a display at the event on Monday, November 28th between 10 am and 12 noon.

A spokesperson said: "The open morning has always been a very well-attended event.

"This year we would like more non-members (people who have no idea that Alsager U3A exists) to come and visit us and to perhaps come and join one of our groups.

"If you have friends, neighbours who fall into this category do please invite them to come along.

"Don't forget that Tap Dancing will be performing at 11.00am and that there are free refreshments too."

The group is also launching a sitting Keep Fit class at Twyfords Care Home in the New Year.
