Alsager Town football club appoints new first team manager

Alsager Town Football Club has announced it has appointed a new first team manager.

Noel Dempsey has taken over the Bullets' first team following the resignation of Brian Wilson.

The new first team manager is a senior member of staff at the University Campus of Football Business at Manchester City's Etihad Campus.

Noel said on Twitter: "A huge thank you to everyone associated with Alsager Town Football Club for providing me with this opportunity.

"Thank you for all the messages also. They are really appreciated. Looking forward to meeting a great group of lads."

The Bullets are without a fixture this weekend. Noel takes charge for the first time at their home game with Cammell Laird 1907 on October 2nd.
