Calling all Alsager residents - what would you like to see at this year's Remembrance Parade in the town?

Alsager Town Council is in the early stages of planning this year's Remembrance Day commemorations and is asking residents what would they like to see.

A town council spokesperson said: "We want to make sure the event continues to reflect what matters to our community.

"We'd love to hear from local residents. Is there anything you would like to see added this year, or anything you think we could improve?

"Whether it's something small, a new idea, or a suggestion about how the day is organised, we'd really value your thoughts."

Alsager Town Council says while this year's arrangements are still being confirmed, the programme at the moment is:

Sunday 8 November

Road closure: 2:20pm – 3:15pm

2 pm – gather in Asda car park

2.30pm – walk together to the Cenotaph

3 pm – Remembrance Service at St Mary's Church

The 4 pm – Service concludes

The spokesperson added: "Your ideas and feedback are welcome. Lest we forget."
