Students at Alsager School will be celebrating Pride Month next week with a series of activities.

Each year, the school celebrates the month and this year it is looking at Pride in Diversity across all areas of life.

A spokesperson said: "The students will be learning about different LGBT+ people in each of their subjects and

they are running an art competition on the theme Pride in Diversity

"The library will be highlighting LGBT books and authors.

"Students can attend their Rainbows Club which is an open space for anyone to discuss and learn about LGBT issues, topics and questions.

" It gives students the chance to explore different world views with their peers."
