An Alsager restaurant is celebrating, after it made it into the top ten list of Britain's best roast dinner.

Caster's in Lawton Road is ranked ninth, achieving a score of 85 per cent in the list compiled by the blog, 'Rate Good Roasts'.

Rate Good Roasts reviewed more than 100 roasts all over the country. This is their fourth annual top 10 list. Top spot with 95 per cent went to The Hawthorn in West Yorkshire and the Ducie Street Warehouse in Manchester.

Brad Lancaster from Caster's said: "It's great news. Our team works endlessly to make sure our customers get the best food and service possible.

"2022 was a struggle of a year for hospitality so heading into 2023 with such a big announcement is just what we needed to kick-start the year."

Caster's competed with restaurants all over the country to get into the list.

A spokesperson from Rate Good Roasts said: "After another challenging year for the hospitality industry, we are proud to share the amazing work of chefs and restaurants across the country.

"Congratulations to the Top 10 this year. We cannot wait to get back on the road in 2023!"
