A local radio presenter and member of Alsager Round Table found himself in the limelight when he appeared on TV in the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Darren Antrobus was asked to interview Lauren Simon who appeared as a housemate on the twenty-third series of Celebrity Big Brother.

"We filmed it at the Runway Lounge in Lymm about nine weeks ago. Lauren is a lovely person and we got on well," said Darren who lives in Alsager.

Darren, a presenter with Cheshire's Silk Radio, asked Lauren about her time in the Big Brother house and Louis Walsh in the episode on Monday (May 20th) night .

"It was good to catch up with her. I asked her what it was like to be back in the real world. Lauren likes a laugh," said Darren, head of press and social media for Alsager Round Table.

"I talked about it on air in my show too so listeners could hear all about it. Quite a few of the Real Housewives of Cheshire listen to my radio show."
