Alsager pub presented with prestigious award after winning for fourth year running

The Lodge Inn in Alsager has officially been presented with the Cheshire Pub of Year 2026 award by South Cheshire CAMRA branch.
And now the Crewe Road pub is waiting to hear about the next stage of the contest, the Pub of the Year, when it competes against 42 pubs in the running.
A CAMRA spokesperson said: "Of around 900 pubs in Cheshire, area members judged The Lodge to be the very best, and we couldn't agree more.
"The Lodge is in the last 42 pubs still in the running for Pub of the Year, with the regional judging for Cheshire and Merseyside next up. Best of luck to Sarah and the team in the next round."
It's the fourth year running that the Lodge Inn has been voted Cheshire Pub of the Year.
