Alsager primary school celebrates its 50th brithday with a big party

An Alsager primary school celebrated its 50th birthday in style with a garden party.
Crowds attend St Gabriel's Catholic Primary School's anniversary event in Well Lane. The school is part of the Diocese of Shrewsbury.

The school said on Social Media: "What an unforgettable evening we had celebrating 50 wonderful years of our school!
"Even though the sunshine shared the stage with a little rain, nothing could dampen the joy and spirit of the occasion.

"It turned out to be a truly beautiful evening, made even more special by being surrounded by members of our school community — past and present.
"It was heartwarming to see our children enjoying themselves and to reconnect with former pupils, parents and staff who shared such fond memories of their time at St Gabriel's.
"The love for our school shone through in every smile, story and laugh.

"A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the celebration so uplifting and memorable. Here's to the past, the present and an exciting future!"
