Alsager opticians wins branch of the year award

An Alsager opticians is celebrating a Branch of the Year Award from national high street retailer, Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care.

The branch in Lawton Road won the accolade after coming top in its region to clinch the title at Scrivens' annual conference and awards ceremony.

Manager Hannah Machin, who has worked for the company for three years, said: "The award is thanks to a good, strong team who work really well together and with the optometrists and audiologist to provide both a professional and friendly service. It is all about providing the best service which our customers appreciate."

The award is recognition for the team's first-class customer care, general positive attitude, optical and hearing expertise and all round professionalism.

Commenting on the annual awards, Scrivens chairman Nicholas Georgevic said: "Our success is thanks to the fantastic people who work in our branches to deliver a great community and customer focused service.

"Congratulations to our Alsager branch, who are very worthy winners."

Family business, Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, was established in 1938 and has over 170 branches.
