Blooming marvellous - Alsager Gardens Association announces the date of its annual open day

Alsager Gardens Association holds an annual open day at its Cedar Avenue allotment and this year it takes place in May.
Residents have a chance to go along to the allotment on Cedar Avenue next to St Gabriel's School on Sunday, May 18th between 10 am and 2.30 pm.

Ever wondered what it would be like to access a valuable gardening area, especially if you don't have the space or a garden of your own?
The free event enables you to walk around the site and chat to plot holders who will be happy to give any gardening advice!
The largest of four allotment sites around Alsager with 160 plots in total there are a limited number currently available through Alsager Gardens Association whose website is here
There will be hot and cold refreshments provided on site by Home Coffee & Studio from Alsager, homemade cakes and bakes, tombola and a selection of plants for sale at bargain prices! Cash or card payments accepted.

There is an opportunity to become an annual member of the Alsager Gardens Association for £5 even if you don't have an allotment.
This gives you access to a range of benefits including the trading hut where you can purchase gardening supplies from compost, canes and fertiliser at competitive prices.
