An Alsager dog trainer is urging animal owners to avoid walking their pooches during the heat of the day.

One of Alsager Nub News' sponsors, 'All to Play For", a dog training business run by Julia Hawkins, says animals shouldn't be walked in the heat of the day.

"In the hot weather please don't walk your dog except first or last thing when it's cooler," says Julia, who warns of hot pavements and general heat for dogs.

Instead, the former maths teacher, who uses concept training which helps dog owners to see how they can reshape their dogs' brains using games, has come up with something to keep dogs occupied inside in the cool.

The game features using everyday objects in a box and can be done easily from the cool of your home.

Julia offers tips on her blog https://alltoplayfor.co.uk/blog/ as well as other help and contact details on her website at https://alltoplayfor.co.uk/ shares some special tips for your pooch.
