Alsager has another defibrillator – thanks to Alsager Town Council, Alsager Round Table and Alsager Cricket Club.

Alsager Town Council chair Councillor Michael Unett presented a cheque for £1,000 in grant funding towards the defibrillator to Alsager Cricket Club.

Cllr Unett said on Social Media: "Great to see a new community defibrillator installed at Alsager Cricket Club thanks to donations from the Round Table and Alsager Town Council.

"The installation of defibrillators is vital to ensuring all parts of our town are covered because every second counts in an emergency."

Alsager Town Council clerk, Nicola Clarke, told Alsager Nub News:

"The cricket club applied for a grant and we were delighted to give it to them.

"The more defibrillators we have in the town the better. It was installed at the club at the weekend."
