Alsager councillor and Deputy Mayor of Cheshire East shows support for the Ukraine

Alsager councillor, Rod Fletcher, played his part in showing solidarity and unwavering support for the people of Ukraine today (Friday).

Cllr Fletcher, Deputy Mayor of Cheshire East, took part in an event in Memorial Square, Crewe.

He joined Mayor of Cheshire East Cllr David Marren (left) in showing support for Ukraine on the first anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion on 24 February 2022.

Cheshire East Council has reissued its appeal for residents to sign up for the join the  'Homes for Ukraine' scheme.
