Alsager community-based football club says big thank you for Ukraine donations

More than 40 bags of donations have been collected

Community-based football club, AFC Alsager, has said a big thank you to everyone who has donated to their Ukraine appeal.

More than 40 bags of clothing, toiletries and general living essentials have been delivered, to a collection point.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank all of AFC Alsager's many volunteers and supporters for their generous donations in aid of all those suffering in the Ukraine."

AFC Alsager has 22 teams ranging from under 8's to open aged adults and operates out of Alsager Sports Hub. All of its coaches are voluntary.
