A new business has opened in Alsager - helping the 'repair and mend' move to stop throwing clothing away.

In today's era of fast fashion and throwing out clothing when a button is missing or a zip needs replacing, trained tailor Bashir Rahimi, has brought his finely-honed skills to the area.

Bashir, who lives in Burslem, has opened Magnific tailoring and alteration in Lawton Road whose Facebook page is here and is already receiving rave reviews.

One delighted customer said: "Fantastic addition to Alsager, the new tailoring shop. Lovely, friendly guy and an excellent job done on my daughter's bridesmaid dress, please take any alterations/tailoring there!"
