Today we caught up with Ken Cooper, of Starry Sleepover Parties, a local family-run business based in Alsager which makes children's sleepover experience magical and unforgettable.

He came up with the idea to launch the Alsager-based business 18 months ago after his daughter attended a sleepover party.

Ken decided that he wanted to provide a service which was a special treat for children.

Both Ken's daughters Abigail and Francesca help with the running of the business at the weekend.

After steadily growing in the first six or seven months, Ken's weekends are rapidly becoming jam packed with bookings that bring smiles to families faces.

Ken told Nub News: "Seeing the smiles on the mums faces when they see the tents set up is priceless, because they know their children are going to love it."

Everything is provided to make the perfect sleepover recipe including handmade tents, comfy foam mattresses, sparkly lights, lanterns, rugs, breakfast tables, cushions, cuddly toys, eye masks and soft throws.

All items are delivered, set up and styled on the day so all you parents have to do is book a party with Starry Sleepover Parties.

Ken returns the following morning to pack up and collect all of the supplies with a real focus on cleanliness and adhering to Covid-19 guidelines retained throughout the process.

Covering a 15-mile radius from Alsager, Ken's business is continuing to soar in popularity and reputation.

Ken added: "Our emphasis is to provide top quality and that is what we do. We have a lot of repeat business and referrals which shows how highly people recommend us."

Parents can choose from 11 different themes for their children's sleepovers. The themes are Unicorns, Mermaids, Sparkly Pinks, Hearts & Flowers, LOL Dolls, Roblox, Fortnite, Harry Potter, Ninjas, Football, Halloween and Christmas.

Ken continued: "The Christmas theme is now available, and I do expect it to be a very busy festive period."

The cleanliness of the equipment is paramount, and the business prides itself on the quality of the tents provided, which has received a wealth of glowing reviews.
