Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, an internationally recognised machine manufacturer, in their search for a Draughtsman to work from their UK manufacturing site near Sandbach.

For the successful Draughtsman our client is offering:

  • £30,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
  • Permanent Position
  • Free Parking
  • Increased Company pension

The Role - Draughtsman

  • Ensure all drawings are compliant to relevant regulations (BS6180, BS8300, BS EN 1991-1-1, Building regs part B, K & M)
  • Consult with Design engineers for validation of bespoke details outside the range of the structural calculation spreadsheets.
  • Be competent in selecting suitable fixing anchors as outlined in BS8539
  • Arrange approval drawings clearly and concisely, and send them to Project Managers to issue to the customer
  • Provide technical support for onsite installers, directly dealing with them to proactively resolve any onsite design issue, subsequently, producing relevant drawings & schedules as required to ensure a prompt & efficient resolution.

What our client is looking for in a Draughtsman

  • 3+ years CAD experience - ESSENTIAL
  • 3D CAD (Solid Edge, Solid Works, Inventor) experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in the Construction industry - BENEFICIAL
  • A positive, proactive approach and can-do attitude.
  • Practical experience in construction
