End User Computing Specialist

The EUC Specialist is tasked with ensuring the stability, security, and uniformity of end-user computing platforms (including desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.) across all customers utilizing Trust services. A primary aspect of this role involves developing and overseeing a set of remote support and orchestration tools crucial for facilitating ICT Operational teams in delivering support services throughout the Trust.

Responsibilities:

• As an EUC Infrastructure Specialist, your responsibilities will revolve around the implementation and management of technical platforms and environments impacting end user desktop functionality.
• Adherence to standard IT industry practices for Change Management and Release Control and Validation is integral to this role. The customer base encompasses all users within the Trust and its affiliated partners, including those operating in remote locations.
• You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the project delivery plan, as well as leading regular ICT problem review meetings involving stakeholders from both internal and external domains.
• Additionally, the role entails the ongoing maintenance, planning, and expertise in the technical infrastructure necessary for delivering services within the Trust.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Virtualization, Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting.
• Competency in managing and overseeing mobile device management processes.
• Specialized knowledge and proficiency in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) / Intune for efficient system management.
• Capability in conducting end-to-end discovery, design, migration, implementation, and support of Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android operating systems.
• Familiarity with backup and restore applications and methodologies to ensure data integrity and security.
• Advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications for efficient productivity and collaboration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of service delivery and infrastructure systems technologies for effective operations.
• Demonstrated experience in project management throughout the full life-cycle of major IT projects.
• Significant and extensive experience in the field of work, showcasing practical knowledge and skills.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
• Proven ability to investigate and analyze complex technical problems, and recommend appropriate and effective solutions.

Contract Details:

This is an inside IR35 contract role, offering competitive remuneration of approximately 200 per day via an Umbrella company.
