For what is now becoming something of a tradition at Alsager Golf & Country Club Jazz Society, Julian Gregory, Matthew Compton and Paul Hartley are combining for a night of high-energy Parisian 'Hot Club' style jazz on Thursday 20^th February.

Having been a member of the BBC Philharmonic for the over 35 years, there is no disputing that Gregory is one of most technically brilliant violinists around. Primarily playing in the Parisian style made famous by Stéphane Grappelli and Django, Gregory also draws inspiration from a diverse mix of Latin, Bluegrass, Funk and even Celtic traditional music.

For full authenticity, the band will feature accordion player Compton as well as Hartley on guitar and house musicians Peter Robinson (bass) & Roger Keay (drums).

Definitely an event not to be missed!

It starts at the golf club (ST7 2UR) at 8pm; all are welcome (no membership required), £8 cash on the door with an optional raffle.
