Woman charged with murder following fatal collision in Rode Heath

Detectives investigating the death of a 24-year-old man in Rode Heath have now charged a woman in connection with the incident. 

Ryan Watson died at around 11.40pm on Friday, May 6th after he was hit by a black Ford Fiesta Zetec on Sandbach Road. 

The driver of the car, Alice Wood, was arrested following the collision before being released on bail. 

The 22-year-old was yesterday (Thursday) rearrested in connection with the incident and has since been charged with murder. 

Wood, of Draycott Cross Road, Cheadle, has been remanded in custody and was due to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court today (Friday, May 27th).
