It's the first weekend of June and there's lots happening – jewellery making, a quiz night and live music.

Friday, June 2nd    

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Here's a story we ran about it here It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has Fine & Dandy featuring the great American songbook with a variety of jazz. Admission is £5.

Saturday, June 3rd 

It's Rode Hall's monthly farmer's market from 9 am until 1.30 pm. Stalls galore and a warm welcome. Lots to see and do.

Beading Amazing in Crewe Road has a class to make a 'simple stitched bracelet' earrings' class from 11 am until 1 pm. The cost is £12.50. 

The Thirteen Club has a 'quiz night' for teams of four. Questions about general knowledge, trivia, sport, music and TV. The event is open to members and non-members.

The Linley Tavern has Trilogy, a three-piece rock band from North Staffordshire/South Cheshire covering classic rock numbers from 8.30 pm.

Sunday June 4th 

Alsager Community Church in Lawton Road has a Café Church Animal Kingdom Special with a story, crafting, singing and eating afternoon tea together, whilst thinking about creation and the creator of animals.

The event is aimed at families with primary aged children and children must be accompanied by an adult. 50p per person charge on the door. For more information email: [email protected] or follow the link here

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
