Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Here's a story about it here It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Saturday, August 12th 

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Fancy getting some exercise and doing some good for the community? It's Alsager Clean Team's August litter pick. Starting from The Mere on Crewe Road at 10am. All equipment is provided, with refreshments afterwards. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs allowed.

Alsager Animals in Need has a coffee morning at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 11.30am. Clothes, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, plants, pet items, homemade cakes will be on sale as well as a raffle/tombola. Tea, coffee and squash are available.

Alsager Fire Station in Brookhouse Road has an open day from 11 am until 3 pm. There will be stalls and demonstrations and lots more to do and see.

Fancy watching some live football? Alsager Town aka The Bullets are at away to Ashville with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, August 13th   

Alsager Golf Club, Linley has a quiz and BBQ afternoon from 3 pm. It includes 'Play your cards right' with big cash prizes.

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
