What's on in Alsager this weekend: Artisan market, Christmas party, live music and sport

Christmas is nearly here and there's lots happening in Alsager this weekend.

We have gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know!

Friday, December 15th

Fancy a good book to curl up with or looking for a present? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost ever subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

In the evening, UK Bjorn, a tribute to Abba is on at Alsager Civic. Tickets are £12 or £14 on the door.

Saturday, December 16th

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

If you're looking for Christmas presents, The Christmas Olive & Stitch Market is on at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 1 pm.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are at home to Cheadle Town in a cup match with a 3 pm kick-off.

In the evening, the Linley Tavern has the four-piece covers band, The Repeaters who have played at Alsager Music Festival.

At Alsager Civic, there's a 'Classics' night with supper included. Details below and also in our What's On section here

Sunday, December 17th 

At Alsager Civic, there's the annual party for children, again featured in our What's On section here

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
