What's On in Alsager this weekend: Charity beer and gin festival, farmers' market and karaoke

It's a busy weekend ahead with the annual charity beer and gin festival, farmers' market and karaoke. 

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know!

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Friday, June 30th     

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? Here's a story about it here . It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Charity Beer and Gin Festival at Alsager Cricket Club in Fairview Avenue gets underway at 6pm until 11 pm. The three-day event starts with a live band (see poster).  

At Alsager Golf Club, in Linley Lane, AJ 'The Ultimate Solo Tribute to UB40', takes place from 8.30 pm. Tickets are £5.  

Saturday, July 1st  

Rode Hall Farmers' Market in Scholar Green is on from 9 am until 1.30 pm with lots of summer produce including John Jones, the vegetable seller, with a trailer full of seasonal produce including cherries, strawberries and young carrots. There's an array of stalls selling a variety of produce and Dan Toft will be playing live. The courtyard kitchen will be open selling breakfast baps, homemade cakes and lunches.

Day two of Alsager Charity Beer and Gin Festival takes place at Alsager Cricket Club from 12 noon until 11 pm with a live band and BBQ.

Sunday July 2nd   

It's the final day of Alsager Charity Beer and Gin Festival at Alsager Cricket Club starting at 12 noon until the beer runs out!

 Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.

At The Railway Inn in Audley Road, karaoke is king with Ken's Karaoke from 3 pm until 7 pm.
