Wimbledon is on TV and there's plenty to celebrate in Alsager this weekend! A beer and gin festival, a farmer's market and quiz night to name a few.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, July 1st

Alsager Community Church has a bouncy castle fun event with free kids' crafts and free coffee for the grown-ups from 12 noon until 5.30pm

Alsager Beer and Gin Festival, which takes place at Alsager Cricket Club in Fairview Avenue, opens at 6.15pm with a live music line-up as well as an array of beer and gin.

Olivia Lindblad is followed by the dynamic Hayley Elliot at 7.15pm and to close the night at 8.30pm there is @jasonstockton2 with his electronic sounds from the 70s and 80s.

Meanwhile at the Thirteen Club Fine & Dandy are on at 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm. Admission is £5.

Saturday, June 25th 

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

At Rode Hall, there's a farmer's market from 9am until 1.30 pm with strawberries and clotted cream on sale plus an array of other food and arts and crafts and Sac n Craic will be playing live.

The courtyard kitchen will be selling brunches, homemade cakes and drinks.

At Alsager Equestrian Centre in Lawton Heath End, there's members' dressage at 9 am.

Day two of the Alsager Beer and Gin Festival at Alsager Cricket Club is on from noon until 11 pm with live music and a BBQ.

At Bank Corner, it's Bounce Saturdays from 9 am until 2 am while at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue it's quiz night.

Sunday, July 3rd 

 It's day three of Alsager Beer and Gin Festival from 12 noon until the beer runs out! 

In the evening, Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
