It's a busy weekend ahead with amateur boxing, live music and a video disco!

Friday, June 9th    

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? Here's a story about it here . It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Is boxing your bag? There's a night of amateur boxing at Alsager Civic. Beartown ABC Select against UK Select. Doors open at 6.30 pm and boxing starts at 7.30 pm. Entrance is £15 for adults and £10 for children. Tickets available direct from Beartown ABC or by contacting [email protected] Tel: 07971 993229

  The Pluckers are live at The Mere Inn in Crewe Road, Alsager from 8.30 pm.

Playing acoustic versions of classic songs old and new, by the likes of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Radiohead and James Morrison.

Saturday, June 10th

Sir Cliff Richard fans will be paying a visit to the Thirteen Club. Jimmy Germain appears with his ever popular tribute to the songs and music of Sir Cliff Richard. Tickets are £10 for members and £12.50 for non-members. Check availability. 

Alsager Social Club has a 'Summer Sizzler' from 2 pm until 7 pm. Tickets are £10 on the door.  

The Linley Tavern has the talented Jon Stevens performing outside from about 5pm(ish) warming us up ready for the Champions league final at 8pm

Sunday June 11th  

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
