It's a busy weekend ahead with an Abba tribute, the olive and stitch market, football and live music.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Friday, December 16th 

Alsager's Dementia Friendly group has their Memory Café at Alsager library from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm. All are welcome.

At Alsager Civic, it's the UK Bjorn, A Tribute to Abba, at Alsager Civic. Doors open at 7.30 pm.

At Alsager Social club in Longview Avenue, there's a Christmas Karaoke from 8pm until late.

 

Saturday, December 17th

The Olive and Stitch market is back at Alsager Civic with crafts and gifts from 9.30 am until 1 pm.

Bod Alsager in Crewe Road has breakfast with Santa (see poster).

From at 4pm at Alsager Civic, there's the Northern Soul and Motown All Dayer. Tickets cost £10. 

Live football is on at Alsager Town aka The Bullets who are playing Rocester with a 3 pm kick-off.

 In the evening, the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, there is a Diana Ross tribute night.

 

The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has the band Vavoom playing from 8.30 pm.

Sunday, December 18th 

It's the second day of breakfast with Santa at Bod Alsager.

At Alsager Civic, there's the Christmas showing of Arthur Christmas at 3pm. Family tickets are £35 and individual tickets £10. Tickets for children include a fully loaded hot chocolate and a surprise. 

That's right, the big man himself will be visiting his grotto here in The Civic! Each child will receive a special gift and a yummy fully loaded hot chocolate Tickets are available now!

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
