It's Glastonbury this weekend but there's plenty going on in Alsager for those not glued to the TV watching the weekend of music.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, June 24th

The Thirteen Club has Griff's Soulful Sounds' Motown Night from 7.30 pm until midnight. Tickets are £5 on the door.

Saturday, June 25th  

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

At Bank Corner, it's Bounce Saturdays from 9 am until 2 am.

Meanwhile, Paula Randell is Cher at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue. Tickets are £10 for members and £12.50 for non-members.

Sunday, June 26th

In the evening, Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
