Friday, June 10th

At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue "Fine & Dandy" play live with bluegrass, Cajun, jazz and swing. Admission is £5.

Meanwhile The Bar in Sandbach Road, South has whisky tasting from "both sides of the pond". Starting at 7.30 pm, there will be a presentation of whiskies from the British Isles and North America. Tickets cost £30 and are available from The Bar.   

Saturday, June 11th    

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

Want to get some exercise and help your community too? Alsager Clean Team has a litter pick starting from The Plough car park in Crewe Road from 10 am until 11.30 pm

 Areas covered include Crewe Road from Close Lane to Cranberry Lane, Cranberry Lane around Coronation Avenue and Cranberry Moss Nature Reserve.  

Refreshments will be provided afterwards. Equipment is provided or you can take your own.

In the evening, the Thirteen Club has a quiz night, open to members and non-members covering general knowledge, trivia, sport, music and TV.  

Sunday, June 12th

There's a fabulous fundraising event taking place today -  Primrose and Prosecco, in aid of Alsager in Bloom.  It takes place at Alsager Civic from 2.30 pm until 4.30 pm and costs £15.

The price includes the flowers and all the floral sundries and you will have step-by-step instructions from someone with a floristry qualification. A glass of Prosecco on arrival.

In the evening,  Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
