It's a fun weekend in Alsager with a boot camp in the woods, two tribute acts, a quiz night and bridge.

Saturday February 26th

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Bootcamp takes place in School Wood, Scholar Green and is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

The boot camp was featured in Alsager Nub News earlier this week here.

Meawhile Alsager Town FC (The Bullets) are away this weekend at Cammel Laird 1907. Saturday night you'll be spoilt for choice. St Mary Magadelene's Church has a quiz starting at 7.30 pm. Take your own food and drink and make up teams of up to six. £3.00 per person plus raffle. At Lawton Memorial Hall in Church Lawton, there's an Elvis tribute night to raise money for Lawton Memorial Hall charity. The fun starts at 7.30 pm and tickets are available from Tori 07974 416542 or email [email protected]. At Alsager's Thirteen Club there's a Neil Diamond tribute night. Tickets cost £8 for members and £10 for guests. Sunday February 27th Christ Church in Alsager has a weekly 9 am

"Reflective Service" with hymns for an hour.

In the evening, Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
