Two people are rescued after a car overturns in Rode Heath

Two people had to be rescued by firefighters after a car overturned in Rode Heath today (Friday). 

Fire engines from Middlewich and Crewe went to the junction of Knutsford Road and Sandbach Road at 3.15 pm. 

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "A car left the road and overturned on its side with two casualties trapped inside.  

"Firefighters worked to free the two occupants as quickly as possible.  

"Both casualties have been removed from the vehicle (4.20 pm). Crews made the scene safe."
