Sunshine, singing and smiles make for another successful summer fair in Rode Heath

Rode Heath Primary School is celebrating after another holding another successful summer fair.
The school playground was bursting with colour, music and community spirit as families gathered for the school's much-loved big summer event.
Organised by Rode Hall Parents' Association, the fair raises thousands of pounds each year to support the school.
From bouncy castles to bottle tombolas, every stall was run by teachers and volunteers — a real team effort.
Meanwhile, the crowd was treated to spectacular dance performances from every class, from Reception to Year Six - all themed around classical musicals, including The Lion King and Mary Poppins.

Headteacher John Frankland said: "This is one of the highlights of our year. It's heartening to see the whole Rode Heath family working together — staff, pupils, parents and even former pupils, who return year after year to join the fun.
"The energy and enthusiasm are what make this event so special."
Recently rated Outstanding in all five key areas by Ofsted, Rode Heath Primary is proud of its strong sense of community and its commitment to high standards.

Despite its popularity, the school still has a small number of reception places available for September 2025 and parents are warmly invited to book a visit.
