Thursday, February 29th

Alsager Golf and Country Club Jazz Society has a 'Gypsy Jazz' night. For what is now becoming something of a tradition at the club, Julian Gregory, Matthew Compton and Paul Hartley are combining for a night of high-energy 'Hot Club' style jazz. The fun starts at 8 pm. All are welcome. It's £7 cash on the door with an optional raffle.

Friday, March 1st

Looking for a book to chill with after during these cold days? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Fancy a walk? Rode Hall's annual snowdrop walk is on again, details here

In the evening, The Mere Inn has the first day of their 'kitchen take over' with Bun & Pickle who will be working their magic from 5 pm until 10pm and The Mere also has live music with Della & The Fellas.

The Thirteen Club has Cry Baby and the Hoochie Coochie Boys. Tickets are £7.50.

Saturday, March 2nd

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Civic has an interesting event - Alsager Fairtrade Steering Group and Alsager Town Council's Environmental and Open Spaces Working Group together with Cheshire East Connected Communities are presenting a 'green, well-being, health event' event from 9.30 am until 1pm. Free admission.

Last day of Rode Hall's annual snowdrop walk is on again, details here

Alsager Town Football Club Club are home to Stockport Georgians with 3 pm kick-off. Go and support your local team!

Monday, February 26th

Fancy getting fit as well as meeting new friends? Dance teacher, Mark Farrugia is at Alsager Civic with his Strictly Dance Fit classes from 6 pm until 7 pm. Here's a story we wrote about him here
