Thursday, August 8th

Fancy testing your knowledge and enjoying a pint or a glass of wine at the same time? It's the Mere Inn's quiz night tonight (Thursday) and there's a £30 bar tab up for grabs for the winning team. Get there to be in with a chance of winning - 7pm - 9 pm.

Friday, August 9th

Looking for a book to chill with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Saturday, August 10th

Fancy looking for some bargains and helping a local charity at the same time? Alsager Animals in Need, whose Facebook page is here and website here . They have their monthly coffee morning at Alsager Civic between 9.30 am and 11.30am with a 50p entry. There will be clothes, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, plants, pet items, home-made cakes and a raffle/tombola. 

Alsager Ukrainian Support Group has its conversation cafe between 10.30 am and 12 noon at Alsager library in Sandbach Road North.

Alsager Football Club aka The Bullets take on Stafford Town with a 3 pm kick-off. Up the Bullets!

The Lawton Arms at Church Lawton has BBQ in the pub garden plus a 'club night'. Details on their Facebook page here
